Warren Creates is “Professor-for-a-day” at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University
As “Professor-for-a-day” appointed by the The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, last night I delivered a 2-hour lecture as case study on the 30-year history, social entrepreneurship, philanthropy and economic impacts of the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival.
I am a co-founder and current Chairperson of the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival, which has raised C$5.5 in support of 75 Ottawa-area charities.
I was invited to Hong Kong by former fellow-director and current Faculty Lecturer Jason W. M. Kelly.
All the students enrolled in the Hotel and Tourism Management program at the The Hong Kong Polytechnic University are high achiever bachelor degree students from Hong Kong, China, Holland, Cambodia, Philippines and Singapore.
